In 1953 Frazier Aviation Services was started by Leona (Lee) P. Frazier. It started out as part time, as she was employed by Douglas Aircraft in Santa Monica working as an Executive Assistant to Howard Cleveland –Vice President of Manufacturing.
Robert (Bob) L. Frazier Jr. was Director of Middle East /Africa Sales and Supply for Douglas Aircraft during the World War II. He continued in that capacity after the war.
FRAZIER AVIATION’S Aviation Supply Chain spans all movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption (supply chain).
Planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities with the objective of creating net value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging worldwide logistics, synchronizing supply with demand, and measuring performance.
Our manufacturing facility is well organized and maintained. Our equipment is up-to-date and includes CNC computer controlled machinery. Frazier Aviation Inc. is known as a high quality, precision manufacturer in large or small quantities, employing some of the most highly skilled machinists in Southern California. Our facility has the full capability and equipment necessary to fabricate precision parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies from various types of material – steel, aluminum forgings, castings, bar stock, extrusion, making parts from 4 inches to 26 feet. Examples would be Hydraulic Damper Assemblies, Canopy Actuators, Brake Trim Assemblies, Brake Shoe Assembly, Corner Fittings, Floor Beams, Rainbow Fittings,etc. Frazier Aviation, Inc. is the largest manufacturer (other than Lockheed) for the spare market of Chine Caps, Longerons, Beams, etc.
Sheet metal shop is equipped and has the expertise and capability of manufacturing small individual components to complex sub-assemblies and assemblies for a variety of aircraft. Our performance and lean capability allows us the flexibility to meet your needs. Some examples of our assemblies would be: Flaps, Oil Cooler Scoops, Speed Brakes, Ailerons, Landing Gear Doors, Trim Tabs, Wing Root Fairing Panel, NLG Doors, etc. for C130’s today. This facility also produces various types of ground-handling equipment such as Intake Screen Guard Assemblies used on the F4 engine run-up testing.
